In fact, there are many sequences in COD 4 that the game mirrors that it looks to be relying on these moments instead of creating new sequences. Players who have been playing with Modern Warfare titles before will also notice that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare often nods to the past games. The game will largely take place in the present time but will occasionally dip into some backstories. Most of the story takes place in the fictional country of Urzikstan, but some of the campaigns will also take place elsewhere, including the UK. As with other Modern Warfare games and the two Black Ops title, the story of this game takes place in modern times. There will also be some other familiar faces that will make a comeback. Moreover, Modern Warfare will have a complete single-player campaign well worth playing.
Players in this game will have different operators to play in multiplayer but with no special powers. Also, gone are the advanced mobility mechanics and the hero-shooter aspects introduced in the previous Call of Duty games. A half-prequel, half-reboot to the Modern Warfare franchise, this game will also return the series to a more grounded and realistic military shooter after a few titles of futuristic entries.
